A negligence security claim is a claim against a property owner for injury that occurs to patrons, people on the property who are injured as a result of some kind of criminal activity that occurs there that the owner should have known about and protected you from. You can pursue a claim because they were not fulfilling their duties to their patrons, and so as a consequence, you were injured because of their own negligence.
